So. I decided to go to a convention for the first time during this module. Partly to scope out the independent seller scene, mostly to be a big fat nerd. And whats one of the most big fat nerd things I could do? Decide to make a cosplay (initially thinking I shouldn’t spend too much time on it due to uni), then focus in on making a cosplay from a manga that isnt even adapted into an anime yet, let it take over my entire life from 8am to 10pm for an entire week, making the pattern from scratch because only like three bloody people have ever made the physical outfit to wear, spending like £50 on the materials and shit, steal my mothers iron, meet beetlejuice, have two button tops fall off, all for one. count it ONE, person to recognise me out of the several hundred attendees.

AND IT WAS GLORIUS.

I plan on fixing up the costume and entering myself into the cosplay contest at London Film and Comic Convention this summer.

I spent too much time and effort on this not to hand it in I dont care that it’s not drawing I feckin loved this.
